Origin: Humeral Head- common flexor tendon from medial epicondyle of humerus, ulnar collatearl ligament of elbow joint, and deep antebrachial fascia Ulnar head- medial side of cornoid process Radial Head- oblique line of radius insertion: 4 tendosn into sides of middle phalanges 2-5th digits action: flexion of PIP of 2-5th digits assists in MCP joint flex and wrist flex
Flexor Carpi Ulnaris Origin/Insertion/Action
Origin: Humeral head- Common flexor tendon from medial epicondyle of humerus Ulnar head- by aponeurosis from the medial margin of olecranon, proximal 2/3 of posterior border of ulna Insertion: Pisiform bone and by ligaments to hamate and 5th metacarpal bones Action: Flex, ulnarly deviate wrist, assist in elbow flexion
Flexor Digitorum Profundus Origin/Insertion/Action
Origin: Anterior and medial surface of proximal 3/4 of ulna, interosseus membrane, and deep antebrachial fascia Insertion: by 4 tendons into bases of distal phalanges, anterior surface Action: Flexes DIP of index finger, ring, and little fingers. Assists in PIP, MCP and wrist flexion
Extensors Digitorum Origin, Insertion, Action
Origin: Common extensor tendon from latearl epicondyle of humerus and deep antebrachial fascia Insertion: Medial bands- insert into base of middle phalanx Lateral Bands- reunite over middle phalanx and insert into base of distal phalanx Action: Extend/radially deviate wrist, MCP joint, IP joints, and assists in abduction index, ring, and little finger.

Origin: Common extensor tendon from latearl epicondyle of humerus and deep antebrachial fascia Insertion: into expansion of little finger with extensor digitorum tendon Action: Extend MCP joints and IP joints

Origin: Common extensor tendon from lateral epicondyle of humerus Insertion: Dorsal Surface of base of third metacarpal bone Action: Extend wrist, assists in wrist radial deviation

Origin: Common extensor tendon of latearl epicondyle Insertion: base of 5th metacarpal bone Action Extend and ulnarly deviate wrist
Palmaris Longus Origin/insertion/action
Origin: Common flexor tendon from medial epicondyle ofhumerous, deep to antebrachial fascia insertion: flexor retinaculum and palmar aponeurosis action: Tenses palmar fascia, flex wrist assists in elbow flexion
Extensor Carpi Radialis Longus Origin/Insertion/Action
Origin: Distal 1/3 of lateral supracondylar ridge of humerus and lateral intermuscular septum Insertion: Dorsal surface of base of 2nd metacarpal bone, radial side Action: Extend , radially deviates wrist and assists in elbow flexion
Opponens Pollicis Origin/Insertion/Action
Origin: Flexor retinaculum and tubercle of trapezium bone Insertion: Entire length of first metacarpal bone, radial side Action: Opposes thumb CMC
Abductor Pollicis brevis Origin/Insertion/Action
Origin: Flexor retinaculum, tubercle of Trapezium, and tubercle of Scaphoid Insertion: Base of proximal phalanx of thumb Action: palmar abduction of CMC and MCP joint; Extend thumb IP joint and flexion MR of CMC joint
