(1) ensure circuit is open when not taking measurements to reduce heating of wires

Electrical Circuit - Resistance of connecting wires change due to heating from current flow

Fractional Uncertainty ( smallest precision/point x 100% )

Error of precision

(1) Cover the opening to reduce heat loss (2) Use thicker insulation

Heating - heat is lost to the surroundings ( exposed top & ineffective insulation )

(1) Conduct experiment in darkened room (2) Repeat at least 3 times and record average

Lenses - Presence of stray light making image harder to see and focus

Repeat experiment thrice and record the average

Light - pins may not be vertically upright & glass block may not return to original position

(1) Adjust set up so theres minimal contact (2) add lubricant like oil to reduce friction

Oscillation - energy loss due to friction btwn string and contact surface
