Vacuole
Contains a liquid called cell sap, which keeps the cell firm; Plants only
Nucleus
Controls what happens inside cell. Carries genetic information; Found in plants and animals
Cell Membrane
Controls what substances can get into and out of cell; Found in plants and animals
Cell Wall
Made of a tough substance called cellulose, which supports the cell; Plants only
Role of circulatory system
Responsible for transporting materials throughout the entire body. It transports nutrients, water, and oxygen to your billions of body cells and carries away wastes such as carbon dioxide that body cells produce.
Cytoplasm
Where chemical reactions occur. In plant cells there's a thin lining, whereas in animal cells most of the cell is cytoplasm; Found in plants and animals
Chloroplast
Where photosynthesis happens - chloroplasts contain a green substance called chlorophyll; Found in plants only
