What is a 3D Oblique drawing? (drawing D)

1. Oblique drawings is a 2 dimensional drawing of an object with "forced depth" so it isn't really 3D because it's drawn on 2D paper. It has actual measurements to scale.

How is the measurements in a 3D Oblique drawing done?

1. To scale. So Eg. If the length of the object is 600 mm and the scale is 1:10, you will draw the length as 60 cm (600 mm). 2. But in the sloping breadth direction, you must halve the true scale measurement. So if the breadth is 565 mm and the scale is 1:10, you must draw the breadth line as 282,5 mm or 28,25 cm. 3. In 3D oblique drawings, all lines in the breadth are parallel.
