RUDR Score℠

A proprietary algorithm applied to a variety of device data points such as parts availability, device criticality, repair events, remaining useful life, FDA alerts & recalls, downtime, cybersecurity risk and real-time device utilization to provide prescriptive and objective capital planning recommendations for the replacement, upgrade, disposal and reallocation of devices. RUDR Score recommendations help support not only replacement planning, but comprehensive inventory optimization, reducing overall expenses and improving operational efficiency

ARR

A proprietary algorithm that evaluates a variety of device data inputs including repair events, parts availability, equipment downtime, remaining depreciable life, device criticality and cybersecurity profile. The ARR dynamically represents the impact these criteria have on the overall performance of the device to generate a score between 1 and 5, with higher scores indicating a more urgent need for replacement.

CYBER Risk Score

An indication of how vulnerable your device may be to cybersecurity attacks. The CYBER Risk Score takes into consideration device attributes such as open cybersecurity vulnerabilities, alerts and recalls, the operating system lifecycle of the device and ePHI transmission capabilities; device network behavior and proprietary patient safety factors.

Parts Availability

An indication of the quality and quantity of service parts available from either the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or on the secondary market. The more challenging it is for TRIMEDX to source quality parts, the higher the Parts Availability Score. This score is critical in helping to avoid costly emergency capital requests by having to replace equipment that unexpectedly no longer has replacement parts available.

Clinical Asset Informatics (formerly RSQa)

The TRIMEDX Clinical Asset Informatics platform is a web-based, proprietary platform that leverages data points from over 4.2 million clinical assets within the TRIMEDX RSQ computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). The platform equips healthcare leaders with tremendous visibility, metrics and actionable insight into the performance of their clinical assets to ensure smooth, high-ROI operations. These powerful analytics support objective decision making and help create the most cost-effective, high-performing clinical asset inventory possible.

RSQ

The TRIMEDX technology, RSQ, is a proprietary Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) designed specifically for healthcare by clinical engineers, supply chain executives and safety & quality experts. RSQ provides unmatched visibility into every detail of a hospital's or health system's inventory to help better understand costs, history, performance and prognosis. Today's version of RSQ is much more robust than a common CMMS. Some may refer to it as a central nervous system for clinical engineering operations. The system that TRIMEDX used for years is now called Legacy, previously RSQ. And when TRIMEDX outgrew that system, the organization upgraded to RSQ Modernization which we now call RSQ. What's in the name? Quite simply, RSQ stands for red square. The original TRIMEDX office had a red square tile in the break room, and the legend began from there. Why RSQ? The company hired an interior designer who was working to incorporate the original company colors of blue, red and orange into carpet and tile flooring for offices previously located at the Digital Way location in Indianapolis. After the flooring was installed, it consisted of mostly blue and orange in the main kitchen and dining areas with a lone 12-inch by 12-inch red tile. Why? When laying the floor, the contractor came up one tile short. The red tile came from a previous installation's leftover tile. During the inspection, the single red tile was questioned and later continued as a common discussion thread amongst associates. Later, when associates were looking for something unique to name the new software, "Red Square" was casually suggested which eventually became "RSQ," as we know it today. Over the years, different meanings like "Rescue" have also been associated with the name, because our technology-enabled clinical asset management will rescue hospitals and health systems in helping provide total clinical asset performance―strategic planning and management of clinical assets that drive operational cost savings, free up capital for new strategic initiatives and deliver improved risk management and cyber protection.

Repair Score

A 24-month view that compares repair events of a specific device to the average repair events of devices within the same category in inventory, providing insight into how a medical device is performing against like medical devices. The higher the repair events for an individual device compared to the average events, the higher the score. Combining repair events and equipment downtime, provides a true representation of what clinical teams are experiencing with equipment as well as which pieces of equipment are most problematic, aiding in the capital planning prioritization process.

Downtime Score

A 24-month view that compares the duration of the downtime of a specific device to the average downtime of devices within the same category in inventory. The higher the equipment downtime compared to the average equipment downtime, the higher the score. Combining repair events and equipment downtime, provides a true representation of what a client's clinical team is experiencing with equipment, as well as which pieces of equipment are most problematic, aiding in the capital planning prioritization process.

Connected Medical Device

A medical device that is actively connected to an internal and/or external network. With our CYBER Advanced program, we are able to monitor the network activity of connected medical activity to proactively identify anomalous behavior and reduce cyber risk.

Connectable Medical Device

A medical device that is capable of connecting to internal and/or external networks to send and receive data. Connectable medical devices could be vulnerable to a cybersecurity attack, and as a result, they are the focus of our cybersecurity program.
