It may look like a big decision, but in reality, it's a tiny investment for peace of mind, knowing your family and home are safe. If you go out and buy a cup of coffee from Starbucks, how much is it going to cost you? A regular size black coffee at Starbucks is $2. $2! The difference between Vivint and Starbucks coffee is that we provide and entire smarthome with a lifetime warranty! Your Vivint Smarthome costs $2 per day. Doesn't it make sense to protect you family and home for the price of a simple cup of coffee?

I totally understand. Do you mind sharing with me what it is you need to think about? - aside from ___ is there any other reason that this wouldn't make sense? It is the money - Here's the thing, you said you would utilize the thermostat, right? On average our customers save between 20-25$ per month. On top of that, there is a discount on your homeowners insurance. So ___ dollars turns into ____ per month. Add your homeowners discount on top of that and your rate is even lower. If this service ended up costing you ____ per month, do you feel like that would take food off the table for you and your family?

I'm not interested

I totally understand. I'm assuming you have never had a fire or a break-in? Reason I am out here is because most people are reactive about these types of things. Meaning they don't go get a system until something happens. If you had a break-in last night do think you would be interested in what I have to say? Why? And I wouldn't be here if I didn't have a no-brainer deal for you.

I don't do contracts

I totally understand. Unfortunately they are part of our everyday lives. From paying off your phone, to paying off your car. It's just something we all have to deal with.

Diversion transition

I've been talking to most of the people in the neighborhood and they have your basic security systems. Just old school basic alarm and keypad. Most people are starting to lean towards smarthomes where you can control everything from your phone. I can tell you're interested, if you have a couple minutes, I can generate a simple quote of what a smarthome would cost you. However we would have to qualify you. Do you have a minute?

Vivint smart drive

If you have cameras, I think the Vivint Smart Drive is a necessity. It's 1tb of memory and it stores all of your cameras footage for 30 days. But the thing is, instead of 30 second clips, it records and stores 24/7 footage for all of your cameras for the past month.

Stops you from coming in the door

Closing transitioning questions

In case of an emergency, would would be the first person to contact? Who would be the second person? What would you like your verbal passcode to be? So if something happens, Vivint comes over your panel and asks for your verbal password to verify that it's you. For reference, I use my dog Max, what would you like? This scribble allows us to email you. This scribble says you will pay ___ for the 60 month agreement, then your price will drop to ___. This form is to make sure you qualify for the equipment And what card would you like to put on file? So the last thing we do is a survey to make sure everything is in check. They will ask you if I have my badge, if the price is correct and if I have told you about the notice of cancellation.

Glance panel

It is an enhancer, it gives the customer a digital peephole wherever they want it in the home. If you want another panel to make things easier, say if you have a 2 story house. It makes the system much more convenient if you have a panel upstairs and downstairs.

They ask price on the doorstep

It really varies on the personal smarthome you put together. how many doors do you have that come into the house? And your back door, is it just a regular door or a slider? And on the door, do you know... can we just take a look at it real quick?

Leaving

Like I said, we are only in the area for the day. We are heading to ___ tomorrow, so my team and I won't be around. If you would like, I can give you my number. However, if you are interested in the future, you will have to pay full price, pay for install and schedule it out.

Mr. customer why is it you need to talk to your spouse? If they were here right now, and they heard everything I had to say, how would they feel? My team is gonna come out and put the equipment inside your home and we're gonna let you try it out for free. I have found that my happiest customers are the ones who get to use it first, and make sure they are completely satisfied. What Im telling you, is that we are so confident in what we deliver, that if for any reason you're husbands not completely satisfied, we'll come back and pick it up, you've got nothing to lose.

This is a safe neighborhood - You must say this is a safe neighborhood for a reason, can you share with me what that is? I actually did this for a gentleman that reminds me a lot of you, his name is Chad Schultz. He doesn't live here, he lives down in Gilbert. He was one of the toughest customers I ever had. He felt the exact same way, that everyone was already watching out for each other. His neighbor was in the military and his brother lived just a couple houses down. But what had happened was, his brother, who was just a couple doors down, actually got burglarized and the way it made his brother feel, made Mr. Scultz realize that this can happen anywhere, even in the best of communities. So what Mr. Schultz did, is we put the system into the house, and guess ho one off y happiest customers is? He was probably one of my most skeptical and now he is one of my happiest, its Mr. Schultz. So what I'm telling you is that its really hard to make a decision hearing about this. I know that having it inside the home and using it is an entirely different ball game. Voice control your entire smart home Walk into your house with your hands full of groceries and you can just say "Google turn on the lights" change the temp, arm the system, turn on your music. Moves more towards a handsfree experience and makes things so much easier. On top of all that, it's a top of the line speaker.

Z-Wave technology, so it can't be hacked and if someone tries to break the lock or mess with it, it actually seizes up and sets off the alarm You can remotely lock and unlock right from your phone, so if you're laying in bed at night, you don't have to get up to check the door, you can just pick up your phone and lock it from there. And if you have people that you want to let in and out, you can assign them individual codes that will actually let you know who is coming in and leaving.
