State how leave is accrued and used
2.5 days per month with a total of 60 days. Ordinary Leave- Most common form of leave. Granted at the request of a service member. Convalescent Leave- Sick leave. Nonchargeable for the purpose of medical care. Must be approved by your commander. Emergency Leave- Will be granted if an individual can show evidence an emergency exists. Charged against accrued leave, but no preplanning is required

What are the key elements within and related to a typical Air Force Wing structure?
A wing commander, wing staff and comptroller squadron, and four groups: operations, maintenance, mission support, and medical. Under each group there may be several squadrons.
Identify proper wear of the Air Force Service Dress and other Service Uniform combinations
ABU: USAF tape goes above left breast pocket and name tape is immediately above right breast pocket. Insignia is one inch from the edge of the collar and parallel. Max of four badges may be worn on the ABU. Mandatory ones: Chaplain, aeronautical, space, cyberspace and missile operations. Max of two are worn on the left side centered 1/2 inch above USAF tape. Gig line in all uniforms is to be straight and neat

Air Force Institute of Technology: In-residence programs, Civilian Institution Porgrams, and Education with Industry offering opportunities for officers to gain on-the-job education, experience and exposure to private sector. Tuition Assistance: The Air Force will pay 100% of tuition cost maxing out at 4500 dollars per year. Post 9/11 GI Bill: Eligible for full benefits after 36 months of active duty and will pay college tuition, a monthly housing stipend, and an annual books/supplies stipend. Base Education Office: Place where service members can receive information on educational opportunities and benefits. Best place to start your pursuit toward higher education

Identify the types of pay and the different types of allowance
Basic Pay- Calculated according to an individual's grade and years of service. Basically salary. Special Pay- Given to individuals who use certain specialized skills or assigned to specified locations. Includes hostile and imminent danger pay. Incentive pay- Given to individuals who perform hazardous duties that are inherently dangerous. Two types: Aviation Career Incentive Pay and Hazardous Duty Incentive Pay Basic Allowance for Housing- Given to off-set the cost of off-based housing. Based on number of dependents and location. Overseas Housing Allowance- The overseas equivalent to BAH. Basic Allowance for Subsistence- Fixed monthly rate and is the same for all officers. About 250 dollars a month. Clothing Allowance- Officers get one initial clothing allowance upon first reporting for duty whereas enlisted personnel receive an annual allowance.

Call the room to attention, you can eat and drink during class if it doesn't disturb class, 80 percent attendance, no tardiness, everything must be turned in on time

Conducts the administrative affairs of the department and is directly responsible to the Secretary of Defense. Handles matters relating to fiscal spending, production, procurement, and legal plans and programs.

Define female hair standards
Hair must be minimum of one inch and cannot extend in length below invisible line drawn parallel to the ground at the bottom edge of the shirt collar. When in bun, all loose ends must be tucked in and secured. When in a pony tail, it must be all the way back.Hair must look natural and cannot have ornamentation. Buns can't be wider than width of head and max bulk is three inches. From scalp, max bulk is two inches
Define male hair standards
Hair must have a tapered appearance on both sides and back with and without headgear, hair must not exceed 1 1/4 inches in bulk or thickness and bulk may not exceed 1/4 inch at the termination point. Hair must not touch the ears and only the closely cut or shaved hair on the back of the neck. A block cut is allowed as long as tapered appearance is maintained. Mustach an cover margin of upper lip and sideburns can touch top of ear hole.

Identify appropriate and inappropriate wear of eyeglasses, sunglasses, jewelry, and cosmetics
Jewelry: Watches must be conservative and bands can't exceed one-inch width. A max of three rings can be worn, but no thumb rings. Airmen may wear one bracelet gold or silver in color and is no wider than 1/2 inch. Women can wear earring not exceed 6 mm in diameter that are gold, pearl, silver, or diamond. One earring per ear is allowed, but only for women. Eyeglasses, Sunglasses, Contact Lenses: May not be worn around neck or hanging anywhere on uniform. Must be conservative with frames of black or brown. Contact lenses must be natural looking in shape and design and can't change the Airman's natural eye color.

Identify the benefits of the medical, legal, and liturgical services offered by the Air Force
Medical: Every base has a Medical Treatment Facility including clinics, hospitals, and medical centers. Medical centers are specialized, like pediatric cardiology. You get health care plans under TRICARE. Legal: Prepare wills, power-of-attorney, advising personnel on property matters, reviews leases and contracts, but AF lawyers cannot represent you in civilian court. Base Chaplain Services: Most bases have many chaplains to represent many different religions and the senior chaplain will advise the commander on morale.

Salute within a distance of six paces, don't salute indoors unless reporting in, place of honor: junior officer doesn't precede a senior officer and the senior officer stays on the right. In a car, the senior officer sits in the right rear position and the lowest-ranking officer will wait for the senior officers to get out, don't "apple polish" and do a job out of selfishness or fear of reprisal, give your honest opinion, don't be tardy, don't violate the chain of command, don't lean on a senior's desk, don't be in debt, don't appear encumbered while in uniform, don't PDA, don't have a poor appearance in public.
