Baptism of Blood- The belief that martyrs receive forgiveness for their sins and experience by God's saving mercy if they had not yet been baptized by water.

Western Church-After infant Baptism there are years of preparation preceding reception of the Sacrament of the Eucharist (and the Sacrament of Penance) and often a few more years of preparation prior to reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation. Eastern Church- They confer all three Sacraments of Initiation in Infancy. (Receive Baptism, Recieve Confirmation, and Receive Eucharist in the form of wine)
