Hide/unhide Columns
Put the following steps in order to hide multiple adjacent column or row at the same time.
1. Drag across adjacent columns and row headings 2. Under Home tab, click Format in the Cells group 3. Select Hide Columns or Hide Rows
How would you unhide a column or row?
1. Select the columns and rows on both sides of the hidden columns or rows 2. Under Home tab, click Format in the Cells group 3. Select Unhide Columns or Unhide Rows
Select the steps you would use to insert a temporary column or row after creating a table.
Click in the area where you want to insert a temporary column or row and right click. Select Insert Left, or Insert Right, or Insert Above, or Insert Below
Put the steps in order to hide a column and row.
Click within the column or row you want to hide Click Format in the Cell group in Home tab Select Hide Columns or Hide Rows
What is advantage of temporarily freezing columns and rows?
It allows you to view the rows and columns even while you scroll up and down.

No, you cannot print a temporarily hidden column without unhiding it.

You have created temporary columns and have placed data in these columns. You do not have immediate need for the data in these columns; however, you do not want to delete the columns. What would you do to keep the data without making them visible?
