Battle of the Network Stars

The network is developing a rebooted version of the '70s and '80s television classic, which pitted teams of TV stars against one another in athletic competitions. The original series aired on ABC from 1976 to 1985 and featured teams representing ABC, CBS, and NBC competing in events such as kayaking, golf, three-on-three football, and tug of war.

Beat Shazam

The show features three teams of two players who compete each round to be the first to identify a song's title from a choice of two categories. Teams earn money for correct answers and build their banks as the game progresses, while players with the lowest total are eliminated until one team remains. That team advances to play head-to-head against the Shazam app. Contestants must correctly name songs, in increasing levels of difficulty, within the time frame it takes Shazam to recognize the song. Players who beat Shazam six times win the grand prize.

The Toy Box

Actor Eric Stonestreet hosts this competition series that sees inventors presenting their ideas for new toys to a panel of kids in the hope of getting a product to market. Before the children get their chance to have a say, the concepts must get past a panel of mentors -- including Dylan's Candy Bar owner Dylan Lauren, toy guru Jim Silver and Pixar Creative Director of Consumer Products Jen Tan. Young judges Sophia Grace Brownlee, Aalyrah Caldwell, Toby Grey and Noah Ritter then put their expertise to work, offering no-holds-barred opinions of the products and deciding which items will advance to the finals, where one toy is chosen to be put into production and sold at Toys "R" Us locations.

Man With a Plan

Adam has been operating under the assumption that his three children are little angels, but when his wife decides to rejoin the workforce after being a stay-at-home mom for 13 years, and he starts taking on more of the parenting responsibilities, he's quickly disavowed of that notion. The Bachelorette

An American reality television dating game show that debuted on ABC on January 8, 2003. The show is a spin-off of The Bachelor aired on the same network. The first season featured Trista Rehn, the runner-up date from the first season of The Bachelor, offering the opportunity for Rehn to choose a husband among 25 bachelors. The 2004 season of The Bachelorette again took a runner-up from the previous season of The Bachelor. After last airing on February 28, 2005, the series returned to ABC during the spring of 2008, following an absence of three years.

The core group includes an official profiler who is highly skilled at getting into the minds of criminals, a quirky genius, the former media liaison who manages to adeptly balance family life and the job, and a computer wizard.

To Tell the Truth

Anthony Anderson hosts this re-imagining of the of the classic game show of the same name, where a panel of celebrities is presented with three people who all claim to be the same person with a notable talent, job or achievement. The celebrities have an opportunity to question each of the people before they take turns guessing who they think is telling the truth. Anderson's mother, Doris, keeps score, and the celebrity who performs the worst on each episode must post a lie about himself or herself on his or her Twitter account.

Superior Donuts

Arthur is a gruff Chicagoan who refuses to move into the 20th century by updating the menu with trendy items or renovating the space -- which has remained unchanged since it's opening in 1969. Things start to change when enterprising go-getter Franco talks his way into a job at the shop and convinces Arthur that he can modernize the business, allowing it to remain competitive in the rapidly gentrifying neighborhood. The two get support from Arthur's loyal customers, as they work to remain profitable and fend off the efforts of aspiring real estate capitalist Fawz, who is constantly pressuring Arthur to sell him the building.

The Flash

At 11, Barry Allen's life changed completely when his mother died in a freak accident and his innocent father was convicted of her murder. Now a crime-scene investigator, his dedication to learn the truth about his mother's death drives him to follow up on every new scientific advancement and urban legend. When his latest obsession -- a particle accelerator heralded as a world-changing invention -- causes an explosion, it creates a freak storm and Barry is struck by lightning. Lucifer

Based on characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg, this series follows Lucifer, the original fallen angel, who has become dissatisfied with his life in hell. After abandoning his throne and retiring to Los Angeles, Lucifer indulges in his favorite things (women, wine and song) -- until a murder takes place outside of his upscale nightclub. For the first time in billions of years, the murder awakens something unfamiliar in Lucifier's soul that is eerily similar to compassion and sympathy. Lucifer is faced with another surprise when he meets an intriguing homicide detective named Chloe, who appears to possess an inherent goodness -- unlike the worst of humanity, to which he is accustomed. Suddenly, Lucifer starts to wonder if there is hope for his soul.

Bob's Burgers

Bob Belcher is a third-generation restaurateur who runs Bob's Burgers with his loving wife and their three children. Bob believes his burgers speak for themselves and isn't afraid to offer a variety of off-beat creations. Bob's wife, Linda, supports his dream but is becoming sick of the slow times, as the restaurant is constantly in danger of going out of business. Despite the challenges, which includes consistent harassment from Linda's ex -- a health inspector -- Bob tries to keep the grill sizzling.

Shark Tank

Budding entrepreneurs get the chance to bring their dreams to fruition in this reality show from executive producer Mark Burnett. They present their ideas to the sharks in the tank -- five titans of industry who made their own dreams a reality and turned their ideas into lucrative empires. The contestants try to convince any one of the sharks to invest money in their idea. When more than one of the sharks decide they want a piece of the action, a bidding war can erupt, driving up the price of the investment.

Masterchef

Chef, TV personality and restaurateur Gordon Ramsay together with restaurateur and vineyard owner Joe Bastianich (later replaced by pastry chef Christina Tosi) and chef Graham Elliot were the original judges in the US version of the show. The competition takes place in the warehouse which includes a large kitchen area with several cooking stations which is overlooked by a balcony, a well-stocked pantry, a freezer/fridge area and a fine-dining restaurant/seating area used for certain challenges.

NCIS: Los Angeles

Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J star in this second show in the "____" franchise, focusing on the high-stakes world of the Office of Special Projects (OSP) in Los Angeles. Highly trained agents use the most-advanced technologies available and go under cover to apprehend criminals deemed a threat to national security. Special Agent G. Callum can transform himself into whoever he needs to be to infiltrate criminal factions. His partner, former Navy SEAL Sam Hanna, is a surveillance specialist who uses state-of-the-art equipment to monitor field agents and feed them information.

American Ninja Warrior

Comic and actor Matt Iseman returns to host the ninth season of the action-packed competition series alongside former professional football player Akbar Gbaja-Biamila and reporter Kristine Leahy. Contestants tackle challenging obstacle courses in cities across the country. As the competition progresses, competitors continue toward the highly anticipated national finals in Las Vegas, where they take on a four-stage course modeled after Japan's famed Mt. Midoriyama. The series is based on international hit "Sasuke."

Celebrity Family Feud

Comic, actor, author and Emmy Award-winning talk-show host Steve Harvey pits celebrities against each other in a prime-time version of one of TV's most popular and enduring game shows. Fan-favorite celebrities and members of their families compete against other stars and their relatives to win money for charity as they try to come up with the most popular responses to survey-style questions that were posed to 100 people. The lively competition is filmed in front of an audience in Los Angeles, Calif.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Detective Jake Peralta, a talented and carefree cop with the best arrest record, has never had to follow the rules too closely or work very hard. That changes when Ray Holt, a man with a lot to prove, becomes the new commanding officer of Brooklyn's 99th precinct. As Holt reminds Peralta to respect the badge, an extremely competitive colleague -- Detective Amy Santiago -- starts to close in on the hotshot cop's arrest record. Other members of the precinct include Sgt. Terry Jeffords, a devoted family man, Detective Charles Boyle, a hard worker who idolizes Jake, and Rosa Diaz, a sexy-yet-intimidating detective. Civilian office manager Gina Linetti is tasked with cleaning up everyone's mess, while somehow getting involved in everyone's business.

Bull

Dr. Jason Bull is the charming and cocky founder of successful trial consulting firm Trial Analysis Corporation, where he and his team of experts employ psychology, human intuition and high-tech data to understand jurors, lawyers, witnesses and defendants, and construct effective narratives to help their clients win. Bull's team include his brother-in-law Benny, neurolinguistics expert Marissa, former detective Danny, hacker Cable, and Chunk, who helps perfect clients' appearances for trial. "Bull" is inspired by the early career of Dr. Phil McGraw, who also serves as executive producer.

Black-ish

Dre Johnson (Anthony Anderson) has it all: a great job, a beautiful wife, Rainbow (Tracee Ellis Ross), four kids and a big home in a classy neighborhood, but as a black man, he begins to question whether all his success has brought too much cultural assimilation for his family. With the help of his father (special guest star Laurence Fishburne), Dre begins to try to create a sense of ethnic identity for the members of his family that will allow them to honor their background while preparing them to embrace the future.

Hollywood Game Night

Each week two people leave their ordinary lives behind as they and a group of popular celebrities gather together to play a series of outrageous and hilarious party games that include quizzes featuring celebrity and popular culture. The civilians compete with each other, but each person has a team of celebrities for assistance, vying for the opportunity to take home a $25,000 cash prize. Adding to the party atmosphere is the host -- award-winning actress, comic and singer Jane Lynch -- and an energetic house band.

Scorpion

Eccentric genius Walter O'Brien leads a group of brilliant misfits who constitute Homeland Security's new think tank, helping defend against the high-tech threats of the computer age. The team includes behaviorist Toby Curtis, mechanical prodigy Happy Quinn, and statistics guru Sylvester Dodd. Penn and Teller: Fool Us

Illusionists Penn & Teller sit in the audience and watch as aspiring magicians try to impress them with a trick that the famous illusionists are unable to duplicate. If a magician successfully hoodwinks the legendary duo with a trick, be it a sleight-of-hand routine or a grand illusion, that person wins a trip to Las Vegas to perform as an opening act in Penn & Teller's show at the Rio Hotel & Casino. Actress Alyson Hannigan ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer"; "How I Met Your Mother") hosts the series.

Whose Line Is It Anyway?

Improv veterans Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady and Colin Mochrie return for a new take on the comedy series with host, Aisha Tyler. Each episode, a special guest star joins the comics as they tackle a series of spontaneous improvised sketches, with only a few random ideas from the studio audience and their host. With little information and a lot of imagination, the comics depict a variety of characters and scenes, and even perform songs. At the end of each round, Aisha awards points to each of the four performers and announces a winner at the end of every episode.

The Goldbergs

In the 1980s, geeky Adam uses a video camera to document his family's crazy life. His mother, Beverly, is overprotective and lacks boundaries, while his dad has a hot temper and finds it difficult to parent without screaming. Rounding out the clan are Adam's terrifying sister, Erica; his older brother, Barry, who has middle-child syndrome; and the family's beloved grandfather, Al "Pops" Solomon. Pops is responsible for wild antics, including offering drinks to Barry and teaching Adam about the ways of love -- which create more chaos in an already high-strung family.

The Middle

In the Heck family, middle-age, middle-class, middle-America mom Frankie Heck (two-time Emmy winner Patricia Heaton) uses a sense of humor to try to steer her family through life's ups and downs as she tackles her career goals. Her unflappable husband, Mike (Neil Flynn), is a manager at the local quarry. Oldest son Axl is an obstinate young man; awkward daughter Sue cannot seem to find her niche -- despite much enthusiasm in her attempts -- and youngest son Brick is an unusual child whose best friend is his backpack.

Zoo

In this thriller based on James Patterson's best-selling novel of the same name, actor James Wolk portrays Jackson Oz, a renegade American zoologist overseeing safaris in Africa. As he begins to notice animals exhibiting strange behavior, attacks against humans start occurring all over the world. The ferocious assaults accelerate and appear to be cunning -- and coordinated. Jackson races to solve the mystery behind the pandemic and stop it before no place is left for humans to hide. A team of executive producers includes James Patterson.

This Is Us

Jack and his wife -- who is very pregnant with triplets -- have just moved into their new home in Pittsburgh. Successful and handsome television actor Kevin is growing increasingly bored with his bachelor lifestyle. Randall -- who was abandoned at a fire station by his father as an infant -- is a stylish New York-based businessman working to raise two daughters with his wife, Beth. These people are among a group, several of whom share a birthday, of seemingly random individuals whose lives intertwine in unexpected ways.

The Great Indoors

Jack loves his job traveling around the world as the adventure writer for Outdoor Limits, but an announcement from the magazine's charismatic founder, Roland, abruptly brings his globetrotting days to a halt. Jack's new assignment at the now web-only publication keeps him chained to a desk as he supervises a team of millennial writers, including tech nerd Clark, social media expert Emma, hipster-lumberjack Mason -- who spends minimal time outside -- and Roland's daughter, Brooke, who coddles the rest of the staff. Jack gets help understanding the 20-somethings from his best friend, Eddie, who runs the local dive bar.

Jennifer Lopez's series brings the world's elite dancers together to compete in epic battles of artistry, precision and athleticism. The Carmichael Show

Jerrod and his therapist-in-training girlfriend, Maxine, are intelligent, ambitious and ready to take the next step to building a fulfilling life by moving in together. Prison Break

Candy Crush

Picked up straight to series in October, the live-action game show is based on the popular mobile game of the same name. The new format, created and executive produced by Matt Kunitz, has elements of his popular series Wipeout and Fear Factor. Production on the series started Thursday ahead of a Sunday, July 9, premiere.

Family Guy

Sick, twisted and politically incorrect, the animated series features the adventures of the Griffin family. Fresh Off the Boat

As Eddie's dad, Louis, pursues the American dream by opening a western-themed restaurant named Cattleman's Ranch Steakhouse, Eddie and the rest of the family try to acclimate to their new, strange surroundings.

America's Got Talent

The 11th season of the top-rated summer competition series will once again feature host Nick Cannon, and a quartet of opinionated and insightful judges: model Heidi Klum, TV host Howie Mandel, recording artist Mel B and executive producer Simon Cowell, who is making his judging debut on the series. In auditions across the country, performers and groups of all kinds -- including singers, comics, magicians and contortionists -- present their acts, hoping to make it to the next round of the competition and ultimately be named the winner. After three years on the East Coast, live performances and results shows will take place in Los Angeles.

Hawaii Five-0

The detectives are part of an elite task force whose mission is to eliminate crime on the beaches of the Aloha State. Assisting McGarrett and Danno is former Honolulu Police detective Chin Ho Kelly, who has been relegated to a federal security patrol after being wrongfully accused of corruption. Chin's fresh-out-of-the-academy cousin, Kono, also joins the team as she tries to establish herself among the department's elite.

The first two hours feature reruns of CBS's crime drama procedural series, which over the years have included the four series of the CSI franchise, Criminal Minds, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, Cold Case, Flashpoint (before its move to Ion Television), and The Mentalist, with the final hour featuring a new or encore edition of the CBS News newsmagazine program 48 Hours Mystery, which focuses on true crime stories. The $100,000 Pyramid

The game features two contestants, each paired with a celebrity. Contestants attempt to guess a series of words or phrases based on descriptions given to them by their teammates. The title refers to the show's pyramid-shaped gameboard, featuring six categories arranged in a triangular fashion. The various Pyramid series have won a total of nine Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Game Show, second only to Jeopardy!, which has won thirteen.

The series will bring people together in teams of five - two men, two women, and an "elite Spartan athlete" who will be picked by the show and serve as team captain. The elite athlete will either be from the Spartan Pro Team or from a different field of expertise.

So You Think You Can Dance

The show features a tiered format wherein dancers trained in a variety of dance genres enter open auditions held in a number of major U.S. cities to showcase their talents and may move forward through successive additional rounds of auditions to test their ability to adapt to different styles. At the end of this process, a small number of dancers are chosen as finalists. These dancers move on to the competition's main phase, where they perform solo, duet, and group dance numbers on live television. They compete for the votes of the broadcast viewing audience which, combined with the input of a panel of judges, determines which dancers advance to the next stage from week to week. The number of finalists has varied as determined by a season's format, but has often been 20 contestants.

American Housewife

The wealthy town of Westport, Conn., is full of cookie-cutter mommies and their seemingly perfect offspring, but the members of the Otto family can't be counted among them. Confident housewife Katie Otto shares a home with her husband, Jeff, and their three children Taylor, Harrison and Anna-Kat, and while she loves them all dearly, she recognizes they probably aren't going to land themselves in a magazine spread anytime soon. The matriarch knows her family is beautifully flawed, and she's far from sorry.

The Simpsons

This long-running animated comedy focuses on the eponymous family in the town of Springfield in an unnamed U.S. state. The head of the Simpson family, Homer, is not a typical family man. A nuclear-plant employee, he does his best to lead his family but often finds that they are leading him. The family includes loving, blue-haired matriarch Marge, troublemaking son Bart, overachieving daughter Lisa and baby Maggie. Other Springfield residents include the family's religious neighbor, Ned Flanders, family physician Dr. Hibbert, Moe the bartender and police chief Clancy Wiggum.

Fresh out of Harvard Law, Jamie is the youngest member and "golden boy" of the family. Jamie gave up a lucrative future in law to continue the family's tradition in police work, and is asked to participate in a secretive investigation that even his father does not know about.

Hooten and the Lady

Travelling across the world together, these two initially unwilling partners search for the world's greatest mysteries. From the Amazon rainforest for Percy Fawcett's long-lost camp, to hunting across Siberia for the 51st Faberge egg, the two explore the world of the mythical and legendary. They travel from the snowy Himalayan Mountains in an attempt to track down the only scroll written by Buddha, to the catacombs of Rome to find the Libri Sibyllini, and to Alexandria on the hunt for Alexander the Great's lost tomb. A continuing storyline is of Alex's mother, also Lady Lindo-Parker, attempts to organise her daughter's wedding to her fiancé Edward.

American Grit

WWE superstar John Cena hosts this military-inspired competition that follows 16 of the country's fiercest men and women as they are tested in Pack Forest of Eatonville, Wash. The contestants are split into four teams and presented with a variety of military-grade and survival-themed challenges. John Cena and an elite group of mentors from exclusive military units help the competitors push past their limits as their strength, grit, spirit and -- most importantly -- teamwork skills are tested in hopes of winning the $1 million prize.

Kevin Can Wait

Will feature single men and/or women in search of romance. After the singles are sent on three blind dates, they will dish the dirt in front of a live studio audience, with Watch What Happens host Cohen overseeing. Fox entertainment president David Madden confirmed that the reboot will feature "all versions of couples," including same-sex pairings.

The F Word

World-famous chef Gordon Ramsay may be known for uttering an obscenity or two during meal preparation, but that's not what this reality series is about. Celebrities, restaurateurs and families are invited to prepare dishes in his establishment for 50 customers. The recipes are designed so that anyone at home could prepare them, and once the food has been served, it's up to the diners to decide whether the meal meets their expectations. The program also features segments about food and its origins.
