Based recommendations of dose-response relationships of physical activity and CVD, cancers, type 2 diabetes, and osteoporosis Recommends children (6-17) should get 60 or more minutes of moderate or vigorous-intensity activity daily with vigorous at least 3 days per week Recommend that adults should avoid inactivity, and participate in the equivalent of 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity per week, and muscle-strengthening exercise at least 2 days per week
