Chi square vs Relative Risk
Chi-sq test to see if there is a relationship between the factor and the outcome. Relative risk is our best estimate of the strength of the "factor-to-outcome" relationship

exposed and unexposed groups have the same risk of developing the disease. exposure and disease appear to be independent
Relative risk is the ratio of incidence in
exposed persons to the incidence in non-exposed persons Indicates the relative risk of getting the disease It is widely used by clinicians and epidemiologist
Relative Risk > 1
exposed subjects have a greater risk of the disease exposure is associated with the disease
Relative Risk < 1
exposed subjects have a lower risk of he disease under study exposure appears to protect against the disease

So if you run a CI and it is 2.1-4.3 what are you going to determine
since 1 is not in CI you will reject Ho RR is significant
