They are talking about the future of their marriage by connected it to the moon. Juliet doesn't want Romeo to swear his love on the moon because the moon is unpredictable and she does not want their love to be unpredictable. -Lines 114-116 O, swear not by the moon, th' moon, that monthly changes in her circled orb, lest thy love prove likewise variable.
