Parts of the brain

cerebral hemispheres/cerebrum, diencephalon, brain stem (midbrain, pons, medulla oblongata), cerebellum.

Ventricles

expansions of the brain's central cavity/canal filled with cerebrospinal fluid.

Third Ventricle

located within the diencephalon.

Fourth Ventricle

located within the hindbrain (pons, cerebellum, and medulla oblongata).

Cerebral Aqueduct

located within the midbrain. Connects 3rd and 4th ventricles.

Lateral Ventricles

paired 1st and 2nd ventricles located in the cerebral hemispheres.

Central Canal

spinal chord. NOT A VENTRICLE
