something that you want and plan to do e.g. He had the intention to cook a kebab. I have no intention of selling this house. He left England with the intention of travelling in Africa. evidence
the facts, signs, or objects that make you believe that something is true e.g. All the evidence points to a substantial rise in traffic over the next few years. I was asked to give evidence. predict (what a future state or event will be based on deduction and even intuition)

used to mean that something is very likely e.g. You probably think I'm crazy. I'm probably gonna watch TV. Synonyms: likely, maybe
offers and promises
will e.g. I promise I'll lend you the money. I'll give you a discount if you buy it right now. I promise I won't tell anyone you broke the glass. I'll take you to the movies if you'd like. That looks heavy. I'll help you with it. Don't worry. I won't tell anyone.
