It has no atmosphere, so it is hot in day when facing the sun, and as cold as -1113 degrees in the night

It is about 6000 kilometers in diameter

It is made of mostly sulfuric acid

It is seen in the night sky, and looks like a star
Why are some of Mars' areas darker than others?
Mars is covered in dust, and it blows away at parts, exposing the terrain, which is darker than the dust.
