According to Article 1 Section 2, "The House of Representatives.. shall have the sole Power of Impeachment."
What is the Senate's role in impeachment proceedings?
According to Article 1 Section 3, "The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all impeachments." The Senate is also under oath. ⅔ of the Senate have to vote for conviction.
