Internal locus of control
perspective that a person CAN control their life ex: I can be successful in that course if I study hard. someone who doesnt get a job blames themselves.
External locus of control
the perspective that people believe that their decisions and life are controlled by environmental factors that they cant control such as luck, chance or fate. ex: i will never be successful because i always have bad luck. someone that doesnt get a job blames it on the interviewer.
Locus of control
The perspective that individuals can control events affecting them... developed by Julian B. Rotter in 1954 based on his social-learning theory of personality.
