9. Either Tom Brady is the best quarterback in the NFL or Drew Brees is the best quarterback in the NFL. But Brady's statistics were off this year. So, Drew Brees must be the best quarterback.

Hasty Generalization

1.Maria Sharapova is a tennis player and she is Russian. Elena Dementieva is a tennis player and she is Russian. Therefore, all women tennis players must be Russian.

Affirming the Consequent

10. If Dylan goes to Europe, then he will spend a lot of money. Dylan spent a lot of money. Thus, he must have gone to Europe.

False Cause

11. Last week Mary spilled some salt. This week she broke her leg. Hence, it is obvious that her broken leg resulted from her spilling salt.

Ad Hominem

12. Stormy Daniels is a porn star who has slept with a lot of men. So, how can you possibly believe her claim that she slept with the President?

Appeal to Pity (Ad Misericordiam)

13. My shoelace broke and I stubbed my toe. Therefore, you should give me a raise.

Appeal to Ignorance
