Strong Acids
What is a weak acid?
A weak acid is a weak electrolyte, which means it doesn't conduct electricity very well. When weak acids are dissolved in water they only partially dissociate (break apart). [ex. HF --> HF(aq)] its in an aqueous solution but it doesn't dissolve.

What is a strong acid?
Strong Acids are strong electrolytes which means they conduct electricity well. When strong acids are dissolved in water they dissociate (split apart) completely into ions. If its not listed as a strong acid, its considered a weak acid. [ex. HCl --> H+ + Cl-
