My coil is getting burnt really fast, why?
-Are you vaping it within the recommended wattage range? -Are you a chain vape? -Are you using a very sweet juice?
At what resistance is a coil considered "sub-ohm"?
At any resistance below 1.0 ohms. (0.4, 0.8, etc.)
What is cross threading?
Cross threading is when the coil isn't screwed in properly, causing the coil to sit at an angle and will be hard to unscrew.
If a coil is rated for vaping 40W-60W, what would vaping it at 80W do?
If you vape a coil over the recommended wattage range it will dry the cotton too fast and it will burn.
What is priming a coil?
Priming a coil simply means allowing time for e-liquid to fully saturate the cotton in your coil.
Are coils cross compatible with different tanks?
Some are but most are not.
What should I do if my device is saying "no atomizer" when I do have a coil in it?
Take the coil out of the device and re-insert it making sure you screw it into the base of tank. IF that doesn't fix the issue, check the connections between coil and base of tank (make sure it is clean and that nothing is blocking connection).
What happens when the coil is not screwed in properly?
The coil will not connect to the base of the tank completely. You will get juice leakage from the tank.
What is the AVERAGE lifespan of a coil?
There are a lot of variables that determine the lifespan of a coil: -How heavy is the usage of the coil? (are you a chain vape?) -What e-liquid is being used? *Juice with heavy sweetener or a higher nicotine can lessen the coils lifespan. * Juice that has menthol in it will preserve your coils lifespan.
How do you prime a coil?
There are two ways to prime a coil. 1. Filling the tank with e-liquid and allowing it to sit for 5-10 minutes before vaping on it. -you can do dry puffs where you're not firing the device but still pulling from it to pull the juice through the cotton faster to speed the wait time up. 2. Using the e-liquid you are vaping on, cover all visible cotton including inside the top. then putting the tank together and filling with juice. Again allow it to sit for 5-10 minutes.
If a coil is rated for vaping at 40W-60W, what would vaping it at 25W do?
Vaping a coil under the recommended wattage can lead to the coil not vaporizing enough liquid off it, and it can also leak.
