Interference
anything that gets in the way of clear communication ex: physical noise, psychological noise, or semantic noise
Context
circumstances of a situation; environment
Encoding
the conversion of a sender's ideas and thoughts into a message, usually in the form of words or signs
Decoding
the process by which the receiver translates the written, verbal, or symbolic form of a message into an understood message
Message
verbal and nonverbal elements of communication to which people give meaning
Noise
Anything that interferes with, distorts, or slows down the transmission of information
Feedback
Is the response of the decoder that was received through a channel by an encoder
Channel
Is the space in which the message is transmitted. Channel is the method, or medium, by which the sender conveys the message.
Receiver
The person who decodes a message (decoder)
Sender
(Encoder) initiates communication and sends the message to the receiver (decoder)
