To open MD88/90 Window Exits

To open 737 cabin doors in an emergency

Hold assist handle while applying continuous pressure on door until it locks against fuselage. 4. To open A319 and A320 window exits

1. Assess contidtions (redirect if necessary) 2. Facing aft, remove handle cover and pull handle fown and in. 3. Grasp hand hold on lower portion of exit wih your free hand. 4. Tild window in. 5. Stow window on adjacent seats. On A319 VIP: slide window onto wing and push it away from evacuation path. 6. Pull manual inflation handle locateds in upper edge of window frame.

To open 767 3L and R doors in an emergency (same is 757 3L and R)

1. Assess contidtions (redirect if necessary) 2. Lift up door handle. 3. Hold assist handle and push door outward. As door falls, slide will deploy and inflate. 4. Pull manual inflationm handle at girt bar while holding assist handle or another sturdy part of aircraft. Remember: - Doors are always armed. - Doors are hinged on bottowm, so that they fall out and down.

To open 757 doors 3L and 3R in an emergency (same is 767 3L and R)

It cannot be used for flotatioo/does not detach. - Lights at the bottom edge of the slide iluminate automatically when slide inflate. - Select aircraft. To open 747 upper deck door in an emergency

1. Assess contidtions (redirect if necessary) 2. Verify door armed. 3. Raise door handle in and up to OPEN. Slide will inflate automatically. 4. Pull manual inflation handle at girt bar and hold assist handle. NOTE: Manual inflation handle is located under Velcro flap. Lift the flap to expose handle. 5. Evacuate passengers, yelling commands, "COME THIS WAY!, LEAVE EVERYTHING! SIT AND SLIDE! REMEMBER: -UPPER DECK DOORS are equipped with double-lane slide, but not raft. Inf a ditch,r edirect passengers to main deck, doors 2L/R.

To open A330 cabin doors in an emergency

To open MD88/90 tailcone in an emergency

1. Grab flashlight, assess conditions, and vefify door is prepared for departure. (redirect if necessary) 2. Remove cover and rotate upper door handle in direction of arrow. 3. Open door inward and secure to wall with upper restraint bar. Note: if catwalk fails to lower, reach up and pull it down into place. Tailcone jettisons: 4. Stay low and preceed to end of catwalk shouting, "STAY BACK!". 5. Verify slide is fully inflated and usable. GREEN (MD-88)/ ORANGE (MD-90) slide inflation indicators on top left/right of slide indicate slide has inflated. Note: if slide fails to deploy, lift slide cover handle up, over, and out and pull manual inflation handle. 6. Secure self on platform at end of catwalk, opposite aft taicone release handle, and conduct evacuation. Note: Instruct first passendger to "RELEASE THE STRAP." 7. Shout commands: "COME THIS WAY! LEAVE EVERYTHING! STAY LOW!" Tailcone fails to Jettison: Redirect passengers to other exits. If unable to use other exits, use aft tailcone release handle.

To activate interior aft tailcone release handle:

1. Shout "STAY BACK!" Stay low and preceed aft on catwalk until feet hit slide pack. 2. Pull aft tailcone reslease handle. This releases tailcone and triggers slide inflation. Tailcone jettisons: 3. Verify slide if fully inflated and usable. Green (MD-88) / Orange (MD-90) slide inflation indicators on top left/right of slide indicate slide has inflated. NOTE: If slide fails to deploy, lift slide cover handle up, over, and out and pull manual inflation handle. 4. Secure self on platform at end of catwalk, opposite aft tailcone release handle, over, and conduct evacuation. NOTE: Instruct first passenger to "RELEASE THE STRAP!". 5. Shout commands: "COME THIS WAY! LEAVE EVERYTHING! STAY LOW!" Tailcone fails to jettison: Return to cabin and redirect passengers to another exit.

Window Exits on A319/320

- It's always armed. - Double-lane ramp/off wing slides (ramp/slide), it will automatically deploy. It cannot be detached and used as flotation devices. - Manual inflation handle is located in upper edge of window exit frame. - Slide light illuminates automatically. - Escape straps are located in small overhead bins near window exits. Attach one end of strap to hook located on upper corner of window exit frame. Attach other end to hook located on center of wing surface. - Seat back recline is restricted on seats near window exits. - When handle cover on overwing exits is removed, a white slide armed light iluminates.
