Karma is a belief that a person experiences that lead to consequence. An example of a saying that goes with karma is "what goes around comes around" and if you have ever heard this saying you now know it mirrors the Hindu concept of karma.

Mokaha is like heaven for Christians mostly all Hindus strive to reach moksha or a state of changeless bliss. Moksha is achieved by living a life of religious devotion and integrity. And the ultimate reward is release from samsara and union with God.

Parvati is the Hindu goddess of devotion. Parvati is the counterpart to shiva.

Who were the Aryans and how did they influence the development of Hinduism?

The Aryans were a group of people who migrated to the Indus River Valley around 1500 B.C. They came from the area we now know as Russia. For a while the aryans were nomads which means they had no home. They lived by hearing cattle and sheep and they spoke a language called Sanskrit and after time the Aryans eventually settled in one place. They influenced Hinduism by their storytelling through there four Vedas.

Who were the Indus River Valley Civilizations and how did they influence the development of Hinduism?

The Indus River Valley civilization is located in South Asia they were also pretty sophisticated, People settled there in 2500 BC. Archeologists are proved that a great civilization lived there based on the artifacts found from 2500 B.C. They found many things like domestic cats and dogs,livestock and statues of gods also The most important point is that the Indus River valley civilization could have influenced the start of Hinduism based on their polytheistic evidence.

What is Samsara?

The word samsara is known as reincarnation it is the cycle of life death and rebirth and each lifecycle can present an opportunity for equal balance in life. In fact most Hindus believe that a person's wordly status depends upon actions in a past life.

Is Hinduism monotheistic or polytheistic?

Hinduism does not fit into any of the categories of monotheism and polytheism. Brahmin takes different forms and it has no category.

How do we know how old Hinduism is?

We do not have an exact for sure date but it is believed that Hinduism started among the tradition of the aryans four books called Vedas and Veda means knowledge it started around the date 1700 BC.

Sarasvati:

Sarasvati is the Hindu goddess of knowledge.

Who is Ganesha?

This also is a form of Brahma Ganesha will remove obstacles.

Lakshmi

This is Vishnu In female form it is known as the goddess of wealth and Prosperity.

Shiva:

This is the another form of Brahman to progress the world he destroys and makes new things.

Vishnu

This is the preserver one form of Brahman. He helps keep balance in your life.

Varna is rooted in the traditions of aryan people. The Brahmins or high persist determine a class order using hymns as testimony.
