- self managed teams are organized by either the team selecting the leader or each team member employs special skills and there is no leader - they are more goal-oriented and team members learn to participate and cooperate - some people do not have the skills and initiative to work with others and some may not put in their fair share of work.

An autocratic leadership is on in which one person runs everything without asking others for input . Autocratic leaders like to give orders without being questioned, make decisions for others, and feel as if their workers need to be watched at all times.

Democratic leadership is is when managers work with their employees to make decisions by listening to each other's opions. Also, after a decision is made a democratic leader expalins why he/she made that decision. People would much rather work for a democratic leader because their opinions are more likely to be header and understood.

7. Define self-managed teams. What are two essential elements of a self-managed team? Describe the role of a team leader.

self-managed teams are work groups that supervise themselves. Two essential elements of a self-managed team is being able to work with others and combing skills of others . The role of a team leader is to make sure everyone is doing their fair share in work and evaluate.
