Caused by bacterial food poisoning, chemical substances, or the inflammation associated with some intestinal diseases.

Prebiotics= stimulate the growth or activity of resident bacterial of large intestine. Ex.Fruits, veggies, and whole grain. Probiotics= live bacteria provided in foods and dietary supplements for the purpose of preventing or treating disease. Ex. Yogurt and acidophilus milk

Requires little dietary adjustment. In serious situations, manage symptoms.
