Confidentiality refers to agreements made between researchers and subjects, through the consent process, about if and how researchers will protect information provided by the subjects.

Conflict of Interest Not including certain data (influencers who just recommend certain things that have an outcome that don't really prove as much) Personal views or connections might influence how findings are presented. Most common but big one Plagiarism Failing to give credit to other scholars - Fabrication and falsification = making up data to get better results in your favor - Non-publication of data = "cooking data" by omitting data that disconfirms hypothesis or research question.
