A medium shot

A Medium Shot is often used to introduce a character for the first time. A Medium Shot places the top of the frame just above the character's head and the bottom of the frame just below the waist.

Low angle shot

A camera shot from a low angle, looking up on the actions. This is often used to show the superiority of a character or characters.

close up shot

A shot in which a small detail or a face fills the frame, taken either by setting the camera close to the subject or by using a long focal-length lens. In relation to a human subject, close-up usually refers to a shot of the face alone although, of course, there may be close-ups of hands or feet, or any other part of the body.

a camera movement that scans a scene vertically
