My name is Alexandra Ágics. I'm 27 years old and a live in Tököl with my family. I'm architect and I work a 2nd district in the small office. In the future I want to live in Hungary, I want to get married with my boyfriend and I want to have children. I have a rather small family. I have got one elder brother. I live together my brother and my mother because my parents are divorced. My father lives in the same city as me, however we rarely meet. He is 52 years old. He is medium height and average tall. Usually he works at night because he is a taxi driver. He things he would work better at night because he don't like the traffic jam. My brother is a tall man with short blond hair. He has a blue eyes. He has several hobbies. He always go to the gym, playing tennis and so on. He is a sportsman. My mother is an elegant slender woman. She has a big blue eyes and her hair is long blond curly hair. I get on well with my mother. She trust me and let me do what I want. We discuss what has happened to each of us during the day. Thank goodness both my grandparents are alive. I love them. My father has got a sister and my mother has got a sister. This means that I have two aunts. I very often meet my cousins, because they live besides us. Most people say that I'm just like my mother. We both have blue eyes, long blond hair and similar features. We are both interested in arts and fashion, so we often go to the shopping and concerts together. I am quite sensitive to what is happening around me. I think I'm really understanding, reliable, sincere and sometimes quick-tempered, forgetful and worried. I'm in my late twenties. I am very tall and average weight. I have straight, long blond hair. My eyes are blue and I wear contact lenses. I just wear my glasses at home. I have got oval face with thin lips. My face change a lot when I smile. I think I'm good looking. I have a pet. She's Kira. She is medium sized with black fur. She is very lively, Fortunately our garden is very big so she can play a lot. My mother usually give dog food in the evening. I don't live with my grandparents, but they live in the neighbor. We usually get together on Sundays when my grandmother cooks lunch for the whole family, including my cousins and their parents. We meet my grandparents on other days too, so we spent much time together. I live at home. I live 19 Run Street Tököl. But I think a lot about we should move in with my boyfriend. I get on well with my family. We always discuss our problems and the good things that have happened to us. We share all the housework, we plan what to do around the house and we go to do shopping together at weekends. I try to spend a lot of time with them, but I work a lot. My workplace is in Budapest and I usually wake up early and I get home late. I have a lot of relatives. I have two aunt. One of my aunt lives quite close to us, because she live in the neighborhood, so we have often come together to have lunch or dinner, and I go to the cinema with my cousins. Close relatives are your grandparents, your uncles and aunts and their families. Your distant relatives are, for example, your grandparents' brothers and sisters and their families. Life has change so much. My great grandmother lived her child and her grandchild. The man worked and the woman stayed at home and they did the housework, played and studied her children and so on. Nowadays the woman usually work and they live separately from their parents. The technology is developing fast and unfortunately we have less time for the family. Modern technology life easier. For example, nowadays you don't have to spend hours cleaning because you only start the washing machine and hang the clothes up to dry. On the other hand, the information is too much and the people aren't deep in knowledge. Those people who continue their studies at a college or university far from have to move somewhere near the institution. There are people who start to work after secondary school or they move in with partner. We celebrate birthdays, namedays, wedding anniversaries, Mother's Day, Christmas and Easter. I like birthday because the whole family comes together for these occasion. I was born in June and we always celebrate the grill party. I have to blow the candles on the cake before I get my presents. I like surprises very much, but I usually get some money because they think it is more practical than the gift. And also we celebrate national holidays, such as October 23 and March 15. In Hungary most people get married on Sunday afternoon. All couples have to get married in a registry office, and those who are religious have a church wedding too. In the registry office, the ceremony is led by a registrar, and the couple and their two witnesses sign the register. In the church, the bride wears a long white wedding dress with a veil and a train, and the bridegroom an elegant dark suit with a white shirt and tie. At the reception several kinds of dishes are served and the new couple cuts the wedding cake. At midnight the couple change their clothes and so-called bride's dance start. At the Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. We buy the Christmas tree and before the dinner we decorated with sweets, brightly colored lights and glass or wood ornaments and the Christmas present are placed under it. We get together at my grandmother and she always cooks the Christmas dinner. The dinner is the traditional fish soup, breaded meet, stuffed cabbage.The dessert is poppy seed. At the Easter we celebrate the Resurrection of the Jesus. It is bigger than Christmas in the roman catholic people. On Easter Sunday morning we eat ham, hard boiled eggs. On the Easter Monday boys visit their relatives and friends and sprinkle women and girls with perfume and water. They get some money, chocolate and red painted eggs, and chocolate bunnies. I keep contact my friends and my colleagues through the Internet. I use every days it my work and my private life. I usually chat my friends on Facebook. It is easy to use, but some of disadvantages are it. We shouldn't share everything on Facebook so we can protect ourselves. I think we don't share where we are, we don't share family photos and so on. And the advantages is lot of information and easy we keep contact with my friends. We can listen to the online radio and watch the film what we download through the internet. We can read or download a book. We can order food and some things, for example books. Sometimes I order the book on the Internet, because it is cheaper, I save time and it is homes delivery. But I haven't order clothes, because I like touch the materials. In my work keep contact through the Internet. We check every morning my emails and easily can answer them.
