tangible resources are physical and observable. Because tangible resources are often scarce, conflict involving such issues take more than basic interpersonal communication skills to resolve, they must be NEGOTIATED. when confronted over a tangible resource, skilled negotiators follow the "MINIMAX" principle to MINIMIZE THEIR LOSSES and MAXIMIZE THEIR GAINS.
