Question: How does evaporation occur?

Answer: How does evaporation occur? Well, evaporation occurs when the sun has been heating down the water too long. When the sun does this, the water starts to heat up. When the water is really warm it starts to evaporate. In the text of " California Science" it states, "Heat from the Sun causes evaporation of water from oceans, lakes, and rivers. Water vapor rises in the air and cools. Energy from the Sun causes liquid water to evaporate from Earth's surface. During evaporation, liquids change to the gas state." So that is how evaporation occurs.

Question: What is Evaporation?

Answer: What is Evaporation? Evaporation is the process of water turning into a gas. That gas is called water vapor. It turns to water vapor by the sun heating down on the water. The water starts to heat up and eventually evaporates. I know this because in the text it states, " When liquid water evaporates, it changes to water vapor in the air. During evaporation, liquids change to the gas state." The pages I found that on in " California Science" is on page 149 and 153. So that is what evaporation is.

Question: Is evaporation i89

Answer: Yes it is important because it is part of the water cycle. Without evaporation, it wouldn't rain. If there isn't rain, then most of our plants will dry up. Then we wouldn't have water cycle which means the fresh water will basically disappear. Yes there are ways to make it clean but it just means river, pong, and lakes would all be dirty water. If you search up on google "Why is evaporation important?" it will say, " Evaporation is a very important part of the water cycle. " Another reason why it is important because it is the one that starts off the water cycle. If the water cycle is important, so is evaporation. Evaporation is needed for the water cycle.
