Strategies for prioritizing goals:

-create list, then prioritize items. -work on important items first. -give each task a value: *A = related to goals (ex: study, class) *B = important have to do (ex: bills) *C = could postpone (ex: social media, T.V.)

Strategies related to procrastination (to avoid procrastination):

-keep your studying "bite sized" meaning break it down so you dont feel overwhelmed. -put away technology distractions. -set up a reward system as an incentive. -study in a study ONLY space. -use checklists & make your accomplishments visible.

Difference between a general goal & a SMART goal:

A general goal is basic. Ex: Achieve 'A' in my Anatomy class. A SMART goal is specific, meeting all of the criteria of the SMART acronym.

How our values affect our choices & our choices can characterize the stage of life we're in:

Values & interests can change as we get older. There are many ohases pf life & you can exoect changes in values & choices as you get older. Ages 18-26 = more short range choices (tend to focus on short term goals).
