Completing an objective or reaching a goal.
Time-bound
How long will it take for me to reach my goal? Every goal needs a target date, so that you have a deadline to focus on and something to work toward. This part usually includes a date or time related word. For example: week, month, day, minutes, etc.
Measurable
How will I know when my goal is met? A measurable goal should address questions such as: How much? How many? How will I know when it is accomplished?
Relevant
How will meeting this goal help me in my life? (Goals should be important to you and what's happening in your life right now.)
Attainable
Is this something that I can do? Do I have all of the tools I need to reach this goal? (Ask yourself, is this goal possible?)
What can happen when you tell someone about your goal?
It makes it more likely that you will work towards achieving the goal. It makes you accountable/responsible.

Goal Setting
This helps you choose where you want to go in life.
Specific
What do I want to accomplish or be able to do? This part of the goal makes the answer to this question very clear, defined, and focused. When drafting your goal, try to answer the five "W" questions: What do I want to accomplish? Why is this goal important? Who is involved? Where is it located? Which resources or limits are involved?
Can goals be modified (changed) as needed?
Yes, as needed to accomplish goals.
