Medicare Part A's home health care benefit does NOT cover:

• Meals, shopping, cleaning, or laundry

Medicare Part A's inpatient hospital coverage does NOT cover:

• Private duty nursing • The first 3 pints of blood • Room, phone, tv, or other non-medical services

Medicare Part A's home health care benefit covers:

• Visits (not round-the-clock care) by a home health aid to provide services such as part-time nursing care and physical, occupational, or speech therapy. • 80% of the cost of durable medical equipment such as hospital beds or wheelchairs
