-meningitis (common cause from age 1 month until elderly) -acute pneumonia -otitis media (most common cause)

Strep agalactiae (GBS)

-meningitis (neonates) -pneumonia (neonates) -bacteremia (neonates) (pregnant women are screened ~1 month before due date, tx if positive)
