These hormones regulate the body's growth, metabolism (the physical and chemical processes of the body), and sexual development and function.

The lymphatic system: acts as a one-way drainage system transporting fluid from body tissues into the blood circulation. contains white blood cells called lymphocytes, which fight infection.

urinary

muscular

There three types of muscles in the human body: skeletal muscle, smooth muscle and cardiac muscle. Skeletal muscles are attached to the skeleton bones, and provide movement of the body. Smooth muscle is found in our internal organs such as the digestive system, respiratory system, blood vessels, and bladder.

immune

Your immune system is your body's defense against infection and illness. It recognizes the cells that make up your body, and will try to get rid of anything unfamiliar. It destroys germs (bacteria and viruses) and parasites. But this defense system can also cause problems.
