Functional: Multiple people performing different functions as opposed to just one, manager of r&d, manager of engineering etc. or it could also be a process oriented structure such as loading and shipping. Multidivisional: is a decentralized structure consisting of a set of operating divisions organized along market, customer, product, or geographic lines, along with a central headquaters which excersises overall control.
