what situation caused the founding of Delta Tau Delta and how were the values violated?

literary neotrophian society existed at bethany college, the only social venue. they voted to give certain men the honors of the society, but some went behind other backs to ensure certain men won the honors. this happened in 1858. a small group of men (founders) decided that everyone should have a fair opportunity to win. these meetings to regain popular control of the society created our fraternity
