What is a system of Record?

System of record are generally looked at as the authoritative source of any piece of data. The data may exist across the enterprise in many states but the system of record is where it is considered correct.

What is a System of Reference?

System of reference can be seen as an authoritative source of any piece of data. If an enterprise organization has a System of Reference that it is agreed this system contains data for transactional and operational purposes.

What is a System of Engagement?

Whereas systems of Record and Systems of Reference are data prioritized, Systems of Engagement are people prioritized. Systems of Engagement enable employees, customers, and partners to work with the organization's data but within the context of the organizations processes
